On the 6th March a requisition calling for an EGM to debate motions on the termination of pregnancy was given to The Irish College of General Practitioners. The requisition was signed by over 600 GPs, 490 of whom are full members of the ICGP.
The requisition sets out motions for consideration including that the ICGP commits itself to the exercise of freedom of conscience by all healthcare professionals.
We still await a date for the EGM.
